About Us
Emily A.P. Cox is the owner of p.cox productions, a local event
coordination company. After 10 years of planning weddings and events for
friends and family, Emily took the leap to follow her dreams and help others
enjoy the special events of their lives.
We will help get your event organized, find creative ways of keeping your
event on budget & most importantly, help you to enjoy the planning &
success of your event.
From a one on one proposal to a 400+ person corporate event, p.cox
productions can lead you down the road to success. We provide a free one hour
consultation to discuss what your event needs & desires are.
We have extensive experience with weddings,
reunions, events,
personal development workshops, anniversary parties and personal entertaining.
Each event receives a customized pricing package designed specifically for
your event & your budget.
We want you to savor your event from the beginning planning stages to the
day of… it’s your special event to enjoy!!
Weddings
- August 1998 ~ Planned & coordinated all aspects of my own outdoor
wedding for approx. 300 guests. Location site was rustic with no running water,
electricity or bathrooms. Site preparation, rehearsal & rehearsal dinner,
Day Of Coordination (to a degree) & Day-After Brunch.
- November 2002 ~ Assisted Bride in final planning & preparations.
Coordinated Dress & floral delivery & decoration, Rehearsal & Day
of Coordination.
- October 2005 ~ Assisted Bride in planning organization, vendor choices,
location sites & budget planning. Follow up consulting on timelines etc.
Rehearsal Coordination & Day Of Coordination provided. Organized flow of
ceremony and reception, dealt with vendors, assisted with decorations &
photo session.
- June 2007 ~ Day of Coordination for 175 person wedding in Shady Cove.
Assisted with final planning, coordinated ceremony rehearsal (off-site), and
organized flow of day off i.e. photography schedule, vendor deliveries,
ceremony set up, transition into reception, etc.
- July 2007 ~ Day of Coordination for 200 person wedding in Eagle Point.
Assisted with final planning, coordinated ceremony rehearsal, and organized
flow of day off i.e. photography schedule, vendor deliveries, ceremony set up,
transition into reception, etc.
Reunions
- South Medford High Class of 1991 10th Reunion (July ‘00 – July
‘01) Lead Planning Committee to success with over 300 attendees at a three
day event.
Events
- Beta Sigma Phi Sorority (BSP) (‘01- present) Participated in planning
& execution of several sorority events: Annual Valentine’s Ball,
Founder’s Day banquet, & many smaller events. Elected Co-Chair Oregon
State BSP 2008 Convention (May ’05)
Personal Development Workshops
- Spring and Fall 2007 Organized Personal Development Workshops for Young
Women thru Ashland Parks & Rec. Partnered with Southern Oregon Productions
to organize 10 workshops, speakers & fundraising events (i.e. MR. Southern
Oregon Mock Pageant, Fundraising at the Speedway, etc.) Miss Southern Oregon
Pageant
- June 2007 ~ Co-Directed the 4th Annual Miss SO Pageant with Southern
Oregon Productions. Organized all aspects of over 300 person event including
all media, set up, vendors, production, music etc.
Anniversary Parties
- August 2007 ~ Assisted in all planning and execution of weekend long 25th
Anniversary Party. Family dinner on Friday night, rafting party on Saturday and
Anniversary Party on Saturday evening. Coordinated all deliveries, decoration,
dealt with vendors and all set up and take down.
Personal Entertaining
- I have hosted numerous gatherings: Baby Showers, Bachelorette Parties,
Bridal Showers, Pageant Watching parties to frequent dinner parties & game
nights.
